We are looking for an Account Manager in Laurentides. The territory may expand to include Montreal region after a few months.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, the incumbent will be responsible for winning new customers in the restaurant, hotel and institutional sectors.He/she must also maintain excellent business relations with existing customers while continuing to develop his/her territory in the various market segments.
Your tasks will mainly involve :
- 60% customer retention and 40% business development.
- Meet with customers;
- Assist, advise and support customers in their needs;
- Manage and analyze customer product portfolios;
- Manage the minimum margin established by the company, as well as transportation costs;
- Prepare meetings between customer and supplier;
- Promote new products and product lines;
- Be in regular contact with the assigned internal representative to follow up on files;
- Prepare a weekly work plan and schedule visits;
- In collaboration with the internal sales representative, follow up on lost sales;
- All other related tasks.
Qualifications and skills:
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in sales consulting;
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in food sales;
- Demonstrated negotiation and business development skills;
- Resident and/or very good knowledge of the region served;
- Good working knowledge of MS Office suite software, as well as strong experience with integrated systems (ERP and CRM)
- Bilingualism (French and English), good written and oral expression;
- Very good time management, priorities and urgency;
- Good interpersonal/communication skills (self-control, listening skills, tact and diplomacy);
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Curious, solution-oriented and highly motivated for teamwork and customer service;
- Possess a vehicle and a valid driver's license;
- Strong negotiation skills.
